Parental Engagement Intervention for Early Childhood Language Development
Evaluating a low-cost behavioral intervention to improve early childhood language development by promoting parent-child interaction in Peru.
This project evaluates a low-cost behavioral intervention to improve early childhood language development by promoting parent-child interaction. Developed by researchers in the BIP Lab in Chicago, the study adapts and pilots the intervention in vulnerable populations in Peru. A randomized evaluation is being implemented with a large education NGO, with results expected to inform potential scale-up through government partnerships.
